Breakfast was good, I truly enjoyed almost everything.

Had an incredible stay for 2 nights, would like to come again. The hotel was a good home base for enjoying a lovely area, so close to shops and the hospital as well as Hagley Park, food venues, transport and clubs. Also, location was great, just 5 minutes walk from Hare Krishna Temple. Very welcoming and pleasant staff, gave a lot of tourist information.

The room was absolutely fabulous! The king-size bed was so comfortable, and the couch converted into a single bed, which was a great bonus. The well-equipped kitchen had everything I needed to cook meals during my stay. The double spa bath in the bathroom was pure luxury. Plus, I loved that they used environmentally-friendly Jeymar bathroom products.

Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the luxury bathrooms with twin vanities. But hey, that's just my preference, and I'm sure others would love it.

The room here was modern and had a comfortable bed, the breakfasts served were satisfactory.

The room was large and clean, with a comfortable bed and a nice shower. the location of the hotel was perfect, near the Botanical Gardens. - We enjoyed an early meal at Hachi Hachi Victoria St, which was conveniently close by.

The location is convenient, being near a bus stop, town center, and shopping areas on Papanui St, and the rooms offer free wifi for our laptops.

The decorations at the motor lodge were simply delightful. The hotel had a charming and elegant style with a touch of Oriental influence. The general areas were well-maintained and offered a cozy atmosphere perfect for relaxing. As a senior woman, I found the hotel to be easily accessible, with everything conveniently located for my needs.

It would have been even more perfect if there were more staff available to assist senior guests like me. The children working there did their best, but having more dedicated staff to cater to the needs of older guests would have made the vacation even better.

The lady at the front desk was super cool and made us feel right at home. The studio we stayed in was spotless and the shower had unbelievable water pressure. The location was prime for us inexperienced drivers, easy to find and close to all the cool spots in ChCh. Oh, and the toiletries smelled so good, I wish I could have taken some home!

The only thing we would have loved is if there was a bit more of a party vibe going on. Don't get me wrong, the place is great for chilling and exploring, but as teenagers wanting to have a blast, it would've been awesome if there were some organized events or activities for us young party animals.

During our Easter trip, we found a great place to stay in the city. the accommodation was clean and spacious, with friendly staff always ready to help us. We particularly enjoyed the free Wi-Fi and the big living area. Plus, the location was ideal, just a short walk to the city center and close to plenty of shops and restaurants.

That we couldn't cook our own food, as there was no stove available. the microwave and electric frypan provided was sufficient for us.

As a couple, we absolutely loved our recent stay at Strathern! the room was well-appointed and spotless, with impressive lighting throughout. the spacious and clean bathroom was a pleasant surprise. the kitchen had everything we needed, and the coffee machine was a nice touch. the location was great, within walking distance to Merivale shops and restaurants. We were also impressed with the welcoming and efficient service. a fantastic experience!

Felt like relaxing at home, no complaints.
